Swimming Pool

A large heated swimming pool 10m by 5m (32 x 16ft) with Roman steps for easy access and spacious surrounding terrace. The pool is set in approx. 2 acres of Mediterranean garden. Sun lounger’s and reclining chairs are provided, offering spacious and unobtrusive sunbathing area with extensive views of the hills and vineyards.

We have private off road parking in a gated garden. Each Gite has their own parking making it stressfree to pop out and visit the local area at any time day or night.

Things To Do

Whether you are a cyclist, hiker, sailor, keen historian or just looking to relax, there are countless activities to discover in Languedoc. 

Top activities include visiting medieval world UNESCO site, Carcassonne where you can take a historic tour or wander the through the narrow streets and ramparts and marvel at the stunning architecture. Quirky shops, excellent restaurants, the Cite has something for everybody all year round.

Visit a vineyard. Languedoc is said to be France’s biggest vineyard, so there is no shortage of wineries and estates to visit to learn more about France’s finest wine, and of course do some tasting! 

Take a trip to the a beach or lake. The Aude beaches closest to the gites cover a 50km stretch and are mainly long sand stretches with excellent facilities. If you are into windsurfing this is the place to come with our beaches ranked among the best in the world for this sport.

Explore the area

Aude takes it’s name from the river running through this department in the region of Occitainie. The region stretches between Toulouse and Montpellier, Aude is bordered by the Mediterranean on its eastern side, the Montangne Noire (Black Mountains) in the north and the Pyrenees to the south.
